Michael has worked in healthcare since 1990. In 1993 he managed a staffing agency in California where he would network homecare givers with families all over. This is where he learned how to network and speak to people. He moved to Montana in 1996 and began working for a company that purchased facilities in trouble their company would travel to them and help set them up to operate or fix the issues. He did this for 6 years and traveled all over the Northwestern United States. From 2003 to 2009 he was the social worker and then administrator for a nursing home in Montana. In 2009 his family opened their 1st assisted living facility. In the next 13 years they built and operated 2 assisted living and a nursing home. He has sat on the Montana Healthcare Association board for the last 8 years. In 2022 his family sold their assisted living facility and shortly after he began working here at Caslen Living Center. His oldest son is disabled so being involved in our healthcare rules and settings is a very strong passion of Michael’s. He is very involved in our rule making process and travels to the state capital constantly to advocate for the elderly and disabled in Montana.
